Byblos Editions

From 1978–1986, the International Poetry Forum published a series of limited-edition translations of renowned international poets under its Byblos Editions imprint.

The series opened with a book by Marco Antonio Montes de Oca (with an introduction by Octavio Paz) and included works by U.S. Poet Laureate William Jay Smith, Spanish Nobel Laureate Vicente Aleixandre, and acclaimed Syrian poet Adonis (Ali Ahmad Said Esber).

All ten Byblos Editions books were handcrafted in hardback and subsequently republished as softcover trade editions by the University of Ohio Press.
